We are complex human beings with a spirit, mind, and body that evolves with time and develops with experience. I feel a portrait should be intriguing and evocative, it should show you some aspect of personhood. When I approach a new portrait, my hope is that the outcome will be as unique and multi-layered as the person I am painting.
I love to collaborate with my clients to uncover some unique aspect of their personality and passions. I search beneath the surface to uncover the beauty of their soul. Together we land on an aspect of their story which will serve as a visual reminder of just how truly wonderful they are.
I started my training as an artist at The Atlanta College of Art then finished my BFA in Painting at Austin Peay State University. I continued my training at the Contemporary Realist Academy in Memphis TN. I have exhibited across the southeast and have won several awards.
